After the speech president of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama on the declaration of war on Libya, many news media that took the angel “the Nobel Peace Prize Winner Declares War On Libya Obama” (Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize Winner Declares War On Libya).

Although much criticism from the world community the United States also society and the members of the United States Congress, Obama seems to still run a peace mission in Libya by declaring war on Libya.

Obama’s presidential decree on the declaration of war on Libya is a mandate from the Security Council of the United Nations (UNSC), which specifically focuses on the threats made ??by humanity against the people of Libya Muammar Gaddafi.

Security Council Resolution 1973 PP 2011 was proposed by the United States, Great Britain and Lebanon, approved by the ten member countries, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, France, Gabon, Lebanon, Nigeria, Portugal, South Africa, United Kingdom and the United States. While China, Russia, Germany, India and Brazil do not give an opinion (abstained).

Security Council Resolution 1973 bytes Date March 17, 2011 related to the situation in Libya was set on the application of truce (cease-fire) and the cessation of all acts of violence and attacks against civilians in the immediate time, the need for intensive efforts to formulate a political solution peaceful and sustainable over the crisis in Libya, Libyan authorities obligation to comply with international law, protection of the civilian population (protection of civillians), implementation of no-fly zone (no-fly zone), the implementation of arms embargoes (enforcement of arms embargo) and the freezing of assets individuals, government agencies and companies in Libya.

Obama also stressed that President Muammar Gaddafi must come out of the country is the policy of the United States government because Muammar Gaddafi has been accused of killing civilians while trying to stop opposition protests. But Obama made ??sure to remove the President Muammar Gaddafi of the country’s then president Obama would not deploy American military forces in mainland Libya.

As a mission of peace, the United States military offensive into Libya is believed to prevent acts of Muammar Gaddafi who suppress their people with committing atrocities against the people of Libya. Obama president also assured that the atrocities Muammar Gaddafi will make thousands of people could die and a humanitarian crisis will occur.

Because of President Obama’s claim air attack on Libya mission was a success and has paralyzed the power of Muammar Gaddafi that has saved many innocent of bloodshed. Quick action the United States and coalition forces that the president has declared Obama’s rescue civilians (citizens and children are the innocent).

Thus the fact that, as a protection for civilians from the threat of a regime that decided to do violence against its own people can be accepted in accordance with the mandate of the UN Security Council and is a step in the right to protect citizens from the threat of Muammar Gaddafi’s Libya and end the civil war in Libya.

But the attack led the United States kolisi forces in Libya, which has destroyed a Libyan fighter jets violated the no-fly zone, have also caused civilian casualties in the hundreds of people buried in mass in Tripoli.

Quibble military attack on a peace mission initiated by the United States now finds itself for President Obama’s complexity that continues despite criticism of NATO decides to lead operations in Libya fly zones, but the role of the United States is still very vital. The attack on the ground carried out the UK and Pranacis but the United States was the leader of the coalition forces and the drive and the pioneer of several complex attacks on military and Mauammar Gaddafi’s residence.

As the international community, the U.S. public is also split in addressing the Western military attack in this case the U.S. military involvement to Libya. In fact, in the state level, Republican in Congress accused the military assault command to Libya by President Barack Obama, violated the constitution. Because the involvement of U.S. military without Congressional approval.

“Unilateral actions of President Obama to use military force in Libya is a violation of the constitution,”said Congressman Roscoe Bartlett, Republican politicians joined in the U.S. House Military Committee.

As is known, the UN Security Council released a mandate application of no-fly zone in Libya on Thursday (17 / 3). The resolution was greeted by France, Britain and the United States by conducting air strikes into Libya since Sunday (20 / 3) until Tuesday (22 / 3)

Because it is still in a trip to Latin America, on Monday (21 / 3), Obama sent a letter to Congress to explain its policy on Libya them. However, Congress is not yet known response to Obama’s explanation.

In the U.S. constitution, a president needs congressional approval to declare war.

Not only in the U.S., the international community was split in addressing the allied military offensive into Libya. Because the resolution mentions the need for implementation of UN Security Council ban on flying in Libya in order to protect civilians from the country’s brutal regime of Moammar Gaddafi, not a mandate to conduct military attacks.

Barack Obama made surprising visit at the end of 2010 by visiting Afghanistan. Afghanistan were country of chaos and claimed to be the nest of the terrorists.

His visit in Afghanistan to thank the troops that supporting the security in these country. In his speech he mention like this: “On behalf of more than 300 million Americans, we are here to say thank you for everything that you do.”
This Obama speech were told during large gathering of uniformed troops at Bagram Airbase outside Kabul.

The rough winds and dark clouds could symbolize the challenges the president and his team face here as the war — now in its 10th year risks being undermined by a corrupt government, a strong insurgency, leaks of classified cables, waning public support and shifting political winds.

“You are protecting your country. You are achieving your objective. You will succeed in your mission,” a casually dressed Obama said to 3,850 troops in the audience. “We said we were going to break the Taliban’s momentum, and that’s what you’re doing. You’re going on the offense, tired of playing defense.”

Obama’s arrival in Afghanistan was first reported by ABC News’ Martha Raddatz, who learned of Obama’s arrival independently while on assignment in Afghanistan and was not traveling with the White House press pool.

There are more than 1,000 U.S. government civilian employees here, from the State Department, USAID and nine other agencies, a tripling since the president announced his new policy one year ago.

But strong winds and low cloud cover made helicopter travel hazardous, so in the last few hours of the president’s trip to Bagram on Air Force One, the Kabul part of the visit was scrapped.

Obama mentioned the members of the platoon today in his remarks as a sobering reminder that war is costly.

“Progress comes at a high price,” the president said. “We know their memories will never be forgotten. Their lives have been added to the lives of our nation.”

The trip was shrouded in secrecy for security reasons, with the reporters who accompanied the president not permitted to announce his presence here until after the president landed.

This visit comes at a pivotal moment for the president. More than 1,300 U.S. troops have been killed in Afghanistan since the war began, with more dying this year than any previous year, as Obama has increased the number of troops to 100,000.

President Barack Obama spent at least part of his Sunday in Chicago doing two things he loves: playing and watching basketball.

Obama spent about two hours on a basketball court at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools, where his two daughters attended before the family’s move to Washington in early January. He played four games, with his team losing the final and championship game by a basket.

The president was joined on the court by several Chicago friends, including Marty Nesbitt, Dr. Eric Whitaker and Alan King. White House aides Reggie Love and Marvin Nicholson also played with their boss.
After a three-day weekend at home, Obama and his family are scheduled to leave for Washington from O’Hare aboard Air Force One about 10 a.m. Monday. With their commute near the end of the morning rush, it was unknown whether they would travel by motorcade or Marine One helicopter to the airport.

When the family arrived Friday evening, they took a 15-minute chopper ride past Chicago’s skyline to the South Side’s Burnham Park, before a quick motorcade to their Kenwood neighborhood home.
Obama’s basketball game, which was followed by an afternoon haircut at an apartment building near his home, came on a day filled with presidential hoops.

A pre-recorded public service announcement from the president in support of volunteerism was to appear during the NBA All-Star Game, which Obama was expected to watch at Nesbitt’s house.

His on-court ability, meanwhile, was dissected on national television, when CNN’s “State of the Union With John King” asked several NBA stars to review his moves as file video of Obama playing during the campaign was aired.
“He’s smart at the game,” former Los Angeles Lakers star Earvin “Magic” Johnson said. “First thing up he’s passing, nice post pass, nice setup, always looking for the other man.”
After another clip, New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul took note of Obama’s left-handedness and said, “Lefties always can shoot.”

After nailing a three-pointer, King asked whether Obama displayed enough swagger. “Nah, he’s got plenty of swagger,” Phoenix Suns’ guard Steve Nash said. “Plenty of swagger. You can tell.”

Basketball Hall-of-Famer Bill Russell of the Boston Celtics called Obama a “pretty good rebounder.”
Johnson, who attended Obama’s inauguration, made clear that he likes Obama’s game, on and off the court.
“He sees the play before it develops,” he said. “That is how he is running the country. I don’t want people to say you are linking the president to a point guard. I’m not doing it. . . . What I’m saying is that a point guard has got to think five minutes ahead.”

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs was asked on King’s show about the importance of basketball to the president.
“There are very few days in which I don’t see, at some point in the day, the president either handling or dribbling a basketball,” Gibbs said. “It’s been a part of his life for a very long time, growing up in Hawaii and playing with his friends on a playground, and even playing with those very same friends now.”

Obama’s basketball game in Chicago came the morning after he and his wife, Michelle, enjoyed a Valentine’s Day dinner at a Gold Coast restaurant called Table Fifty-Two that is owned by Oprah Winfrey’s one-time personal chef, Art Smith.

There are certain things you know as a New Yorker as you stroll down a street. When it’s Fleet Week (after all, there are adorable sailors everywhere. And yes, they’re in uniform!), when the Yankees are in the playoffs (there’s a certain buzz in the air), when the UN is in session (midtown traffic simply stops at a standstill) and when a president is in town.

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama jet to Manhattan this past weekend and took it by storm. Roads were barricaded, the Secret Service were in full effect and you knew someone special was in the vicinity.

President Obama and the First Lady arrived at JFK airport on a small jet. Next up? Jetting (literally, they took a small jet) into Manhattan for dinner at the en vogue restaurant of restaurants, Blue Hill.

Could you imagine dining there and voila! The A-list couple is sitting next to you? Apparently the fellow diners did not have a huge warning saying the Obamas would be eating among them.

Next up on date night: Broadway! The Obamas hit the Great White Way to see Joe Turner’s Come and Gone. We can only imagine how hard it must be to now get a reservation at Blue Hill or tickets to the Broadway show!
The date night on Broadway was the result of the president’s vow to take her there after campaign season ended. Between the Obamas in town and Prince Harry’s recent visit, one can say that an intrepid New Yorker never knows which royalty member will step foot in Gotham!
